Trusting Amazon's results, I see that Canon has 8 of the top 10 selling cameras with Sony holding the 9 and 10 positions. No SLR's in the top 10, a little surprise here, though the Rebel XTi isn't that far off.

The top 5 Elphs are all 2006 models, except the SD500 which was released early part of 2005. The SD600 is the number one overall seller but I wouldn't be surprised if one of the IS models (700,800) takes over the top spot before long.
